During summer of 2003 myself and two friends found ourselves bored to death. My girlfriend had been out of town for more than two weeks and she was currently visiting her sister at college. I called up her up and told her, “we’re on our way to see you! I’ll give you a call when we get there.”

With MapQuest.com directions in hand myself and two buddies hoped in the car at 7:30 at night to pay her a visit. Our destination was only two hours away. Once we got to UVA I gave her a call. I told her we were on University BLVD. She paused for a moment and said, “I don’t know where that is, let me ask my sister…”

After a long pause she said, “wait, where exactly are you?” I responded. “UVA?” Then she shouted, “Why the hell are you there, I’m at Virginia Tech.” After hearing that I promptly hung up the phone and the tape started rolling...
